Okay, I really haven't had any problems with my game. But I figured I would have some sort of glitch sooner or later, and it finally happened with the latest patch. But all it did was break my launcher. Since there's an easy work around, I'm actually kind of relieved. If I have to have a problem, I'll take the one that's easily fixed. The funny thing was, Jason's WoW launcher broke two days before mine did.

Jeebus, now I'm scared to download the new patch. What in the heck is going on with EA and their knack for breaking something? I mean, something in game is understandable, even expected, but the launcher itself? Ugh.

My sister's launcher broke with the Generations patch. She's had more issues then I have, and she runs a CC free game.

I don't use CC either, and this is my first issue. And I actually don't mind not having the launcher at all.

Problem solved. Installing Town Life fixed my launcher.

I haven't downloaded any patches/updates since when I installed Generations O_O I don't think I'll ever update now...

Booky, I didn't download the patch first, I wound up buying Town Life and installing it. After installing both the new SP and the patch, the Launcher works fine. It might have to do with installing only the patch without Town Life.

Also, and I can't remember when this occurred, but I always had an issue with the Launcher crashing when starting the game. It didn't affect the game, it only crashed the launcher. Either after Generations or Town Life, that actually stopped happening. My launcher no longer crashes on game startup, so whichever fixed that, that was a plus. It had no damaging effect, but it was annoying as sin.
